Godwin Developments Signs up Lidl for their Kings Heath Site

Following the acquisition of a prominent site in Kings Heath on a main arterial route into Birmingham back in August 2017, Godwin Developments are pleased to announce Lidl have signed up to a 25-year lease to take up occupancy at the prime retail site.

The former Western Power Distribution Depot, will be demolished to make way for the discount food retailer Lidl, as well as associated parking. Local residents and local council were invited to attend a consultation meeting on the 16^th October. With over 50 people attending, the consultation provided valuable feedback on the development. Resident’s are keen to see the discount retailer coming to their local area, bringing with it employment and big discounts.
