Godwin Developments along with their joint venture partner Amro Real Estate Partners have acquired a 1.1 acre city centre site subject to planning for student accommodation.
Plans are being drawn up for a mixed use scheme to include 6,000sq ft of retail at ground floor fronting Huntingdon Street and student living on the rest of the site.
A planning permission will be submitted in the second quarter of 2011.
